Intro to downhill
New to mountain biking and want to start ripping down trails? This beginner-friendly course will take you through all the basics like gearing, form, and technique in a judgement-free setting. (Not to mention, you'll get great views of the Rockies and wildlife while you're at it.) Lessons start in the afternoon and are available for first timers and green level riders.
Bundle Details
Rental includes:
- Half day full suspension bike rental
- Full face helmet
- Pads and gloves
- Full day lift ticket
- Half day beginner group lesson
This bundle is offered daily throughout the season from 2pm – 5pm. Group lesson will meet outside of the Trestle Bike Shop at 1:45pm.
Please arrive for your fitting between 12pm and 1:15pm at the Trestle Bike Shop. Ages 7+

Recommendations for first timers
Having the right gear is essential for performance and enjoyment of any sport, we recommend the following to ensure your lesson is as enjoyable as possible.
- Flat-soled shoes
- Long pants
- Long sleeve shirts
- Sunglasses / eye protection
- Water
- Snacks
- Sunscreen

Lesson Details
To ensure that all lessons start on time, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your session. Please arrive between 12-1:15pm to ensure enough time for your bike fitting. All lessons will meet outside the Private Lesson Center in The Village.
Before you arrive, make sure to sign the EZ Waiver prior to arrival.
Riders enrolled in a lesson will not need to visit will call to pick up their lift tickets. Lift tickets will be given to you during your rental fitting.
CAREFREE CANCELLATION
Guests can cancel bike rentals, bike lessons, and bike clinics penalty-free up to 7 days in advance of arrival or re-book for a later date in the current season. Purchases become non-refundable 7 days prior to arrival. Up to 9am MT the day prior to arrival, purchases may be rebooked for a different date during the current season. There is no rebooking fee and price differences will be charged. Guests who are not able to use purchased product in the current season may request resort credit that may be used within a year. Requests for modifications to dates and/or packages after 9am MT prior to arrival can be requested by emailing the following contacts.
